Welcome to the official Eagle Mountain Runners website!

We are a trail running group located in Eagle, Colorado, a small ranching town 30 miles west of Vail.  By March our trails are dry and spring wildflowers begin to blossom along our juniper and sagebrush trails. Our mountain valley is 6600 feet in elevation with many of our runs gaining elevation up to 8,000 feet or higher. We run on cool summer mornings that are a refreshing start to hot summer days and into fall when we go up to the nearby high country and breathtaking aspen leaves. Finally winter rolls around and our quiet, snowy, morning snowshoe season begins.  We meet on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 5:15am, and on Sunday’s at 7am at different trails each time.  The Eagle Mountain Runners are of varying abilities and we encourage new runners to join! Membership is free, you simply have to contact us to get on the email list.

 Look for us in trail races across Colorado especially the Teva Vail Mountain Running Race Series and in winter, the Pedal Power Snowshoe Series and Beaver Creek Snowshoe Adventure Series.
